Reflections on Volunteering With Us

Volunteering is rarely as tidy as it sounds on a flyer. It usually involves early mornings, physical setup, and a fair amount of improvising when plans shift, which they often do.

What tends to matter most is showing up consistently rather than occasionally. A volunteer who commits to a regular schedule, even a modest one, tends to be more useful to a program than sporadic bursts of enthusiasm.
